ichard Woy has more than 25 years of experiences providing a variety of management services targeted primarily to health, education, and human service organizations through JRW Associates and Empowerment Workshops, Inc., Boston. He specializes in surveys, studies, and evaluation research, and has conducted numerous studies for both private and governmental organizations. Among these are the Federal Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, Federal Department of Homeland Security, Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Boston Public Schools, the Boston Foundation, Rhode Island School of Design, Arizona State University College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, and Partners Healthcare. Richard has substantial experience conducting evaluation research in multicultural contexts involving subjects from a variety of ethnic backgrounds and speaking multiple languages.
Richard has partnered with Patricia on multiple diversity management initiatives through Empowerment Workshops, Inc. They developed the Empowerment Workshops’ cultural climate surveys and are co-authors of the Boston Persistent Poverty Report published by the Boston Foundation. Richards holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rochester. He is originally from Chicago and currently resides in Brookline, MA.
